ReviewPing uses the Jira access you already have. You create a personal API token on your Atlassian profile, it goes straight into the macOS Keychain, and the app reads your board the same way your browser does. No telemetry
Nothing phones home. The app talks to your Jira and to nowhere else.

Every build is signed with a Developer ID and checked by Apple's notary service.
Is my Jira token safe?
Yes. The token goes straight into the macOS Keychain and never touches disk, logs, or any server of ours. The app talks only to your own Jira over HTTPS. You create the token yourself on your Atlassian profile and you can revoke it there at any time.
Does it work with Jira Server or Data Center?
No. ReviewPing supports Jira Cloud, meaning any site that lives on atlassian.net. Server and Data Center use a different API and are not supported.
Do I need admin rights or webhooks?
No. ReviewPing works with a normal Jira account. It polls the same REST API your browser uses, authenticated with your personal API token, so there is nothing for an admin to install or approve.
Will it spam me with notifications?
No. Cards already sitting in the column when the app starts are adopted silently. Only genuinely new arrivals ping you, several arriving at once collapse into a single banner, and the sound is configurable, including off.
Can I watch a shared board but only see my team?
Yes. Pick one of the board's own quick filters from a dropdown, or write your own JQL, and only your team's cards are counted and announced.
Which Macs does it run on?
Any Mac on macOS 13 Ventura or later, Apple Silicon and Intel alike. The download is under two megabytes.
How do updates work?
The app checks once a day. When a new version is ready you get a notification and a banner inside the app, and one click installs it. Every update is signed and verified before it runs.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If ReviewPing is not for you, write to [email protected] within 14 days of buying and the payment goes back to your card, no questions asked.
What does it cost?
€2.99, once. No subscription and no account with us. Updates are included and arrive inside the app. Payment runs through Stripe and the receipt lands in your inbox.
